Orange County Mining Company Wedding with Paloma and Eric

If you are a Southern California Wedding Photographer you will eventually find yourself at the Orange County Mining Company. Iconic and full of character. This was a first for me though, that is… it was a first that I had photographed where the entire event was at the Orange County Mining Company. I didn’t even know they had ceremonies, up to this point I had only photographed receptions here.

The great part of it was, Paloma and Eric are a super couple! Very willing to anything even though occasionally they looked at me like I was a bit crazy. Maybe they are right. I think we got some unique shots though and really happy with them. Both Paloma and Eric are creative and artistic in their own right. I knew at the engagement session this couple was a photog’s dream.

A Los Angeles Wedding with Chris and Kindra

Chris and Kindra are the kind of people you just like being around. Same can be said for their friends and family.
After the ceremony we headed to Chester Washington Golf Course for a little celebration. After a few dances, some cake and a little partying the happy couple departed for a nice long and well deserved honeymoon.

Wedding at The Atrium in Irvine with Scott and Amy

Right across from the John Wayne Airport is a hotel oasis. Lovely garden and the spot Scott and Amy chose to start their family. The Atrium staff did a superb job in making sure the day went smooth for our lovely couple.
Every time I met with Scott and Amy I could see they just click. You just know these two are going to enjoy life.
The party got a quick start with the talented spinning skills of DJ Gonzo from Sonic Sounds. This crowd was not going to let him rest as they danced their collective heart out. Catch him at djgonzo (at) ca.rr.com

Wedding Photography at the Grand in Long Beach with Kelsey and John

When I arrived at the Extended Stay in Long Beach Kelsey was getting the finishing touches done. A stunning Bride who was sure to impress John, our Groom. I took a few “Getting ready” shots of her and the girls. Off to the Grooms hotel, the Raddison right next door for a few shots of the guys and we were off to Hope Community church for a lovely ceremony. The ladies were decked out in black with a purple sash while the gents were dashing in classic b&w tuxes.
I always love working at the Grand in Long Beach. the reception room was decked out and the staff is quick and attentive. Lighting was gorgeous and the DJ rocked. It was the perfect setting for a brewing party. Speaking of the party, these groomsman took charge on the floor.
I am sure Megan, the MOH, was paying lots of attention, we are shooting her wedding is in October.
Here are a few of my favorites along with a slideshow. See the Rest of the Images

The Lovely Couple in B&W

Wedding Photography at the Christmas House with Christina and Jeremy

The Christmas House in Rancho Cucamonga is an adorable home built over 100 years ago. Jeremy and Christina chose it for their wedding. With a lovely yard and exceptional decorations this is one of the places that make me love shooting weddings and having couples as nice as Jeremy and Christina help too!

Wedding Photography at Puddingstone with Steven and Veronica

As Veronica was escorted down the aisle by her Uncle, Steven, with his impressive voice, welcomed her to the gazebo where they would share their vows with a wonderful song. Puddingstone Resorts provides an excellent backdrop with a 360 degree view of the surrounding valley and mountain ranges.
The reception area just down the path was beautifully decorated by Petals & Linens by L, a fantastic job. the reception was masterfully guided by the skilled Dance Syndicate DJ -John Villa.
Check out my blog for links to all of these vendors.
You could not have a warmer couple. They were absolutely amazing to work with!

Corona Wedding Photography by Jim Conner with Wendie and Michael

Want a fantastic spot for your wedding? Wendie and Michael chose Green River Valley Country Club in Corona, CA. While wedding photography can be a challenge some spots just make it a breeze. Green River Valley Country Club is one of those spots. Wendie and Michael are also one of those couples that just make photography not seem like work at all. they are fun loving and a blast to work with.
Thanks so guys! Congrats!!

Wedding Photography with Kristen and George

Kristen and George held their ceremony at the wonderful St. Bruno’s Church in Whittier. The ceremony held comparisons to Texas Hold’em Poker which I have to say is a first. We met at the La Mirada Creek Park. A cute little park with wonderful trees and bridges. The reception was held at the Ritz Gardens. They did a terrific job and so did the DJ.
I had a great time, their family and friends are some of the nicest people I have met. Thanks guys!

Wedding Photography with Clemente and Diana

The day starts at the Brides house, getting ready, then off to the Church just a few minutes south. Formals were taken at the Workman-Temple Homestead, a very cute little park with a gazebo that photographs beautifully. The reception took us to Chino, thankfully with plenty of travel time planned as the 60 freeway was not cooperating. the Chino Fairgrounds put together a wonderful and the food was awesome! Thanks to the couple for convincing me to take the time to try it. As you see at the end of the video, the couple had Banda Serro Mocho play and they seriously were one of the loudest bands I have heard, my ears are still ringing. But they did rock, is was also one of the most awesome performances.
